There is zero indication that Netflix wants anyone, let alone Apple, to acquire it.
With Disney gobbling up all of the content that exists in the ether, it wouldn’t surprise me to wake up one morning to a press release announcing such a purchase by Apple. Thankfully, Netflix — present day streaming giant, prior day media disruptor — can afford to turn away such offers. I relish in this age of filmmaking and distribution, allowing more creative freedom and less financial headaches for those who make moving images. Though, I do worry of feature-length commercials hitting my queue sooner than later. Or are they already here?
